CALIFORNIA HOMELESS MAN WINS $1 MILLION LOTTERY JACKPOT WITH EASTER MIRACLE

homlessman wins lottery jackpot in california

A homeless man in California has been gifted an extraordinary Easter miracle after his lottery scratcher ticket reportedly won him a staggering $1 million jackpot. The life-changing event unfolded earlier this month when the man purchased the lucky ticket from WILSON SAAMAAN, owner of Sandy’s Liquor in San Luis Obispo.

WILSON SAAMAAN, who spoke to the Los Angeles Times, expressed his overwhelming excitement for the winner, describing him as a loyal and deserving customer. “I was so excited, even more than him,” SAAMAAN said. “He’s a good person. He deserves every penny. I was very excited it happened to someone who actually needed it.”

Initially, the winner believed he had won $100,000, but SAAMAAN revealed the true extent of his fortune. To celebrate the momentous occasion, SAAMAAN shared photos of the winning ticket and the ceremonial oversized check on the store’s Instagram page, captioning it: “Big congrats to our loyal customer on his $1 million jackpot-winning scratch ticket at Sandy’s.”

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, shared plans to use his newfound wealth to purchase a house and a car. According to the Los Angeles Times, SAAMAAN and the winner share a close bond, prompting the store owner to personally drive the winner to the California Lottery office in Fresno to ensure he could claim his prize.

The California Lottery is currently verifying the win, a process that could take several weeks. As the retailer that sold the winning ticket, Sandy’s Liquor will also benefit, receiving $5,000—a 0.5% share of the jackpot.
